OEC is next to a manufacturar and supplier of modular and standard Power Distribution Units (PDU) also a supplier of several software packages for datacenter monitoring & management. Especially in view of the current developments in the field of awareness of the consumption of energy and the wish of the customers to have an insight in all energy related movements in their datacenter this is an important part of our productrange.

For the different applications and demands of the customers OEC offers two software packages. To offer the basic features, OEC proposes a software package that is able to manage, read and export information out of the PDU's / Powerstrips (power management). A package that can easily be handled and that can produce quickly an oversight of the connected Power Distribution Units and that can collect and organise the information. This package also presents the possibilities to connect to different (own) software packages and the generated information form the powerstrips can be used as a feed for databases.

Futhermore OEC is importer / distributor for Europe of Visual Datacenter (VDC) software. This software package is a complete Datacenter Monitoring & Operations Management package with which all the elements of a datacenter can be monitored, overlooked and managed. Next to that even multiple locations can be monitored and managed from a single location. The VDC package is complete building management package and every manager of a datacenter will have the possibilty with this package to get full view and insight of all parts, details and elements of the datacenter.
