OEC rack powerstrips will offer valuable data like current, voltage, power factor and accurate kWh metering. This data will give an insight on the operation and can be used for analysis, management and control. OEC metering accuracy levels are high. For some rack PDUs, calculations may be based on assumptions, our OEC Powerstrip systems however support billing-grade accuracy of +/- 1%.
 
What kind of PDUs are offered by OEC ?
 
OEC offers different rack Power Distribution Units, amongst which are Basic PDUs (low cost, very reliable, not manageable), Metered PDUs (monitoring on PDU level, different alarms for overloads and temp, no outlet metering), Switched PDUs (switcheable on power on PDU and outlet, limited data collection) and Intelligent Power Distribution Units (metering and switching on every level, extensive data collection, require a significant investment).
